Aiyanna Human needs our help

Hi friends,

My daughter Aiyanna woke up monday morning with excruciating neck and back pain along with weakness and numbness in her right arm that sent her to the ER in Arlington. After 13 extremely long hours, a CT scan and MRI we learned she has a tear in the ligament of her spinal cord and a hematoma that is putting pressure on the cord itself. This injury requires surgical repair.

She was then emergency transported to UW Medicine and admitted to the ICU where she has now been for 3 days consulting with a team of neurosurgeons and OB doctors who specialize in maternal fetal medicine Anesthesia since she is 6 months pregnant.

On Friday she will undergo a 4-8 hour surgery of the neck. They will remove 2-6 small bones of the spine that protect the spinal cord, remove the calcification or hematoma if they can safely reach it and then place some plates and screws to stabilize her neck.

I am reaching out to you all for financial help for my kids Bryce & Aiyanna Human. If all goes well post surgery Aiyanna will need to spend a few additional days recovering in the ICU and potentially a step down unit after that. As long as baby Hudson and Aiyanna are stable, OB will give the final ok for them to go home. So far we know recovery time once discharched home will be bed rest for at least a month. We won't know for sure until after surgery depending on that outcome. Bryce is a full time firefighter and while Aiyanna is spending her days growing a baby Human full time she does work a full time job as well. As you can imagine not being able to work will have devastating financial consequences as the large volume of medical bills are already beginning to pile up. Christmas is here, baby preparations are underway and the monthly bills wont pause when when need them too the most.

Any help to her would be so greatly appreciated so that this beautiful young family can have a little relief while Aiyanna recovers and can focus on baby Hudson's arrival.
