I am a single mom who is currently working towards my Master's degree in International Education. One of the requirements to graduate is that I prove my fluency in a language other than English.  For the past two years, I have been studying Italian and although I am pretty good at reading and writing, I need to improve my listening and speaking skills.  Studies have shown that the most effective way to do this is to immerse oneself into that language.  Therefore, I am hoping to raise enough money to fly myself to Florence, Italy for 2 weeks over the Christmas break in order to participate in an intensive Italian language/immersion course with the Koine Center Language School where I will spend 20 hours per week in class and 5 hours per week with a one-on-one instructor.  Due to the fact that this will be taking place over the Christmas holiday, I would also like to be able to buy airplane tickets for my 10 year-old son, Caden, and my mom, so that we can spend Christmas together.  

I truly appreciate any and all help that you are able to give!  Help me become fluent in Italian and help me graduate with my Master's degree!
