Matilda the Stray Puppy Needs Your Help to Walk Again
Donation protected
Matilda, a 3-month-old stray puppy, has already faced incredible challenges. After being abandoned and tragically hit by a car twice, she was left with a severely broken humerus, requiring complex surgery involving five pins and an external fixator. Her recovery is long and requires continuous care and attention.
My cousin, Ilaria di Pasqua, and I, Grazia Ciacca, found Matilda, and although we’ve done everything possible to help her, we cannot keep her as we already have two dogs. Without us, Matilda would have been taken to a shelter. Instead, we’re providing her with 24-hour care, preparing her for a loving future home. Our goal is to help her heal and ensure she’s ready for adoption.
However, the financial burden is significant. With ongoing treatments, medication, vet visits, and necessary equipment like her recovery cage, we’re seeking your help to raise €2,000. These funds will cover her medical expenses and rehabilitation as we search for the right family to adopt her.
Matilda is a fighter—her sweet and strong-willed nature keeps her going despite everything. While we continue to provide her with love and care, we’re asking for your support to help give her the life she deserves.
You can follow Matilda’s journey on Instagram (@grazia_ciacca28 and @iladipa), where we’ll post updates on her progress. Whether it’s through a donation or sharing her story, your help brings her closer to a new beginning.
Let’s give Matilda the chance to find a loving forever home. Thank you for your support!
