Ciao, mi chiamo Giulia, sto raccogliendo qualche aiuto per la mia amica Indonesia Lady.

L’ho conosciuta quando mi trovavo a Lombok, Kuta, Indonesia, lei lavorava nell’ostello dove alloggiavo. Siamo rimaste in contatto e recentemente ha avuto gravi problemi di salute e sto cercando di aiutarla il più possibile poiché è in una situazione economica e familiare non molto bella.

Lady ha solo 21 anni e vive a Kuta Lombok, in Indonesia. La sua vita non è mai stata facile: la mamma l’ha abbonata vari anni fa e il padre è in prigione da anni, e da allora si prende cura da sola dei suoi due fratellini più piccoli, lavorando ogni giorno per mantenerli.

Il 19 agosto Lady ha iniziato a stare molto male: dolori fortissimi allo stomaco, fino a non riuscire più a stare in piedi. Per paura dei costi, non è riuscita a farsi visitare subito in città, ma il 2 settembre è stata portata d’urgenza in ospedale: vomitava sangue e aveva sangue nelle feci.

Lì le hanno fatto una gastroscopia e le hanno diagnosticato una gastrite erosiva e un’esofagite erosiva – una condizione seria che, se non curata subito, può peggiorare fino a causare un’ulcera perforata. Ora ha bisogno di farmaci, controlli specialistici e di un trattamento ospedaliero urgente per guarire e tornare a prendersi cura dei suoi fratelli.

Lady non ha alcun supporto economico: è sola, non ha mamma né papà, e i soldi che guadagna bastano appena per il cibo. Per questo stiamo raccogliendo fondi per:

• Coprire le cure mediche e i farmaci

• Pagare le visite specialistiche e i controlli di follow-up

• Garantire che possa prendersi il tempo per guarire senza dover lavorare subito

L’obiettivo è raccogliere abbastanza per coprire il ricovero, le medicine e le spese vive in questo periodo difficile.

Anche una piccola donazione può fare la differenza per Lady e ridarle la speranza di una vita normale, accanto ai suoi fratellini.

Hello, my name is Giulia, and I am gathering some help for my Indonisian friend Lady.

I met her when I was in Lombok, Kuta, Indonesia, where she worked at the hostel where I was staying. We keep in touch, and recently she has had serious health problems. I am trying to help her as much as possible because she is in a very difficult financial and family situation.

Lady is only 21 years old and lives in Kuta Lombok, Indonesia. Her life has never been easy: her mother abandoned her several years ago, and her father has been in prison for years. Since then, she has been taking care of her two younger siblings on her own, working every day to support them.

On August 19, Lady started feeling very sick: terrible stomach pain, to the point that she could no longer stand up. Out of fear of the costs, she wasn’t able to get examined in the city right away, but on September 2 she was rushed to the hospital: she was vomiting blood and had blood in her stool.

There they performed a gastroscopy and diagnosed her with erosive gastritis and erosive esophagitis – a serious condition which, if not treated immediately, can worsen and lead to a perforated ulcer.

She now needs medication, specialist check-ups, and urgent hospital treatment in order to heal and return to taking care of her siblings.

Lady has no financial support: she is alone, with no mother or father, and the money she earns is barely enough for food. This is why we are raising funds to:

• Cover her medical care and medicines

• Pay for specialist visits and follow-up check-ups

• Ensure she can take the time she needs to recover without having to work right away

Our goal is to raise enough to cover her hospital stay, medicines, and living expenses during this difficult time.

Even a small donation can make a difference for Lady and give her back the hope of a normal life, together with her little brothers.
