Aiutiamo a realizzare il sogno di Umberto

Umberto era l’amico che tutti dovrebbero avere la fortuna di incontrare almeno una volta nella vita.

Era una persona profondamente amorevole, solare, sempre pronto a mettersi in gioco ma soprattutto a donare il suo sincero aiuto. Era sempre attento ai bisogni altrui, si faceva in quattro pur di regalare un momento di spensieratezza a chi ne aveva bisogno.

Nel taschino della sua camicia conservava sempre dei cioccolatini e all’occorrenza ne regalava uno e con quel piccolo, ma immenso gesto, svoltava le giornate a tutti!
Amava immensamente la sua vita e la sua famiglia!

Parlava sempre di quanto fosse orgoglioso di sua figlia Federica, raccontava di quanto fosse brava a scuola e soprattutto di quanto gli piacesse poterla aiutare nel preparare gli esami... ogni volta che pronunciava il nome di Federica gli si illuminavano gli occhi e ripeteva che era il papà più felice del mondo!!

Parlava spesso di sua moglie Barbara, di quanto si sentisse fortunato e felice ad averla accanto, dei buonissimi piatti che lei preparava con cura e che lo aspettavano al suo rientro dall’ufficio, si divertiva pensando alle prove di ballo fatte insieme a lei al corso e in ufficio ripeteva i passetti per sentirsi sempre preparato!

Immancabile nei suoi racconti era anche il suo “figlio peloso” Jack, un bellissimo pastore tedesco tanto buffo con un orecchio alzato e uno sempre giù, che corse che si facevano insieme in campagna!

La vita ha messo veramente a dura prova Umberto, ma lui non si è mai lasciato scoraggiare, ha dato dimostrazione di cosa sia veramente il coraggio, la perseveranza, la forza nel continuare a lottare affrontando la paura sempre con il sorriso.

Lui toccava la vita di tutti quelli che incontrava con la sua generosità e gentilezza. A detta di tutti quelli che lo conoscevano una persona rara, Padre e marito eccezionale, amico presente e leale come pochi.

Lascia un vuoto incolmabile che niente e nessuno potrà mai riempire, ma ci auguriamo di poter aiutare Barbara ad avere un pensiero in meno contribuendo al futuro della figlia Federica.

 

Umberto era e sarà per sempre nei nostri cuori!

Umberto was the kind of friend that we all should be lucky enough to meet at least once in our lives.

He was a deeply loving person, sunny, always ready to get involved but above all to give his sincere help. He was always attentive to the needs of others; he went out of his way to give a moment of lightheartedness to those who needed it.
In the pocket of his shirt, he always kept some chocolates and, if necessary, he handed one over and with that small, but immense gesture, he straightened everyone's days!
He loved his life and his family immensely!
He always spoke about how proud he was of his daughter Federica, he mentioned how good she was at school and above all, of how much he liked being able to help her prepare for her exams; every time he said Federica's name his eyes lit up and he repeated that he was the happiest dad in the world!!
He often spoke of his wife Barbara, of how lucky and happy he felt to have her next to him, of the delicious dishes that she prepared with care and that were waiting for him on his return from the office, he enjoyed thinking about the dance lessons done with her and in the office, he repeated the steps to always feel prepared!
His “fur baby” Jack, a beautiful German shepherd, very funny with one ear up and one always down, was also present in his words; he often spoke about the wonderful times they had walking and running together in the countryside.
Life really put Umberto to the test, but he never let himself be discouraged; he showed what courage, perseverance, and strength in continuing to fight really is, always facing fear with a smile.
He touched the lives of everyone he met with his generosity and kindness. According to all those who knew him, a rare person, an exceptional Father and husband, a present and loyal friend like few others.
He leaves an unsurmountable void that nothing and no one can ever fill, but we hope to be able to help Barbara have one less thought by contributing to the future of her daughter Federica.

Umberto was and will always be in our hearts!
