Ciao, mi chiamo Andy Zanarotto e sono affetto da Sclerosi Multipla dal 1999.

Da allora fino al 2017 ho continuato a peggiorare, finendo in sedia a rotelle.

Non riuscivo più a parlare bene, non capivo bene i discorsi delle persone intorno a me e me la facevo addirittura addosso.

Da quel 2017 ho capito che in questa maniera non andavo da nessuna parte: ho una moglie e una figlia, che futuro ci sarebbe potuto essere per noi?

Così ho iniziato a studiare la malattia a 360°. Io sono un dentista (ex) e qualcosa di medicina ne so, ma ho capito che c'era molto altro da approfondire per poter battere questa malattia così debilitante.

Così i miei studi e il mio impegno mi hanno portato a migliorare sempre di più.

Adesso cammino (con le stampelle), i discorsi li capisco bene e soprattutto vado in bagno per i miei bisogni! VOGLIO TORNARE A CORRERE!

Come ho fatto a raggiungere questi obiettivi?

Nel Diario del Capitano sto raccontando tutto quello che ho fatto e che continuo a fare per migliorare la mia vita.

Purtroppo tante terapie sono a pagamento e la mia pensione non basta per coprire tutte le spese, pagare il mutuo della casa e mantenere la mia famiglia.

Se vuoi darmi una mano a combattere questa terribile malattia e fare una donazione, io e la mia famiglia te ne saremo infinitamente grati.

Spesso chi dona non sa poi che fine fanno i soldi, ma io ti prometto che li userò per continuare ad impegnarmi in tutte le terapie che faccio. Ti prometto anche di darti un resoconto delle spese che sosterrò col denaro che mi doni.

Hi, my name is Andy Zanarotto and I have been suffering from Multiple Sclerosis since 1999.

From then until 2017 I kept getting worse, ending up in a wheelchair.

I couldn't speak well anymore, I didn't understand well the speeches of people around me and I even wet myself.

Since 2017 I realized that this way I wasn't going anywhere: I have a wife and a daughter, what future could there be for us?

So I started studying the disease at 360°. I am a dentist (formerly) and I know something about medicine, but I realized that there was much more to learn in order to beat this debilitating disease.

So my studies and my commitment have led me to improve more and more.

Now I walk (with crutches), I understand speeches well and above all I go to the bathroom for my needs! I WANT TO RUN AGAIN!

How did I achieve these goals?

In the ‘Diario del Capitano’ on YouTube I explain everything I have done and continue to do to improve my life.

Unfortunately, many therapies are costly and my pension is not enough to cover all the expenses, pay the mortgage on the house and support my family.
