Mohammed Sabra, è uno studente diciannovenne rimasto a Gaza, recentemente diplomato al liceo con ottimi voti in tutte le materie, nonostante la distruzione, le perdite e le difficoltà causate dalla guerra a Gaza. Si sta preparando per iscriversi a un corso di laurea triennale in Ingegneria in Italia per l'anno accademico 2026-2027.

Mohammed è l'unico membro della famiglia rimasto solo a Gaza. La sua famiglia è stata sfollata e dispersa in diversi paesi dopo aver perso la propria casa nella guerra a Gaza. Raggiungere Padova gli consentirà di ricongiungersi con suo padre, Mahmoud Sabra, recentemente arrivato a Padova come visiting professor, e di continuare i suoi studi in un ambiente sicuro.

Il suo obiettivo a lungo termine è quello di acquisire le conoscenze e le competenze necessarie per contribuire alla ricostruzione e allo sviluppo di Gaza, aiutando a ricostruire le sue infrastrutture e la speranza per il futuro. HELP MOHAMMED REUNITE WITH HIS FAMILY AND START STUDYING AGAIN

Mohammed Sabra, a 19-year-old student from Gaza, recently graduated from high school with excellent grades in all subjects, despite the destruction, loss and hardship caused by the war in Gaza. He is preparing to enrol in a three-year degree course in Engineering in Italy for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Mohammed is the only member of his family remaining in Gaza. His family was displaced and scattered across different countries after losing their home in the war in Gaza. Moving to Padua will allow him to reunite with his father, Mahmoud Sabra, who recently arrived in Padova as a visiting professor, and to continue his studies in a safe environment.

His long-term goal is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute to the reconstruction and development of Gaza, helping to rebuild its infrastructure and hope for the future. Your contribution will help him begin working towards this goal.

This initiative is promoted by a group of professors at the University of Padua who have known Mohammed's father, Professor Mahmoud Sabra, since his arrival in Padua in October 2025.

To ensure transparency and coordination, the group will manage the funds directly through one of its members, Francesca Helm, and will ensure that every euro is used to support Mohammed's education and his safe journey to Padua.
