Ciao, sono Faorg, forse qualcuno si ricorda di me a Ventimiglia, Marsiglia, Genova, Milano.. dal 2015 sono in Europa e abbiamo lottato contro la violenza delle frontiere e degli stati che ci impediscono di trovare rifugio dalle guerre che dilaniano i nostri paesi. Faccio questo appello perchè la mia famiglia si trova in forte pericolo dopo l'inizio dell'ennesimo conflitto armato in Sudan. Hanno dovuto lasciare la nostra casa e al momento non potendo lavorare non hanno le risorse per sopravvivere. Non sappiamo come si evolverà la guerra e se dovranno spostarsi ancora.

Per chi non conoscesse la situazione il 15 aprile 2023, Khartoum è stata travolta dai primi violenti scontri tra l'esercito, sotto la guida del generale Abdel Fattah al Buhran, e le Forze di Supporto Rapido (Rsf), un gruppo paramilitare comandato dal generale Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, meglio conosciuto come Hemetti. Questi due leader, un tempo alleati nel colpo di stato che aveva bruscamente interrotto il processo di transizione democratica iniziato dopo la caduta del regime di Omar al Bashir, si sono ritrovati divisi da una crescente lotta per il potere. I combattimenti hanno presto dilagato in tutto il paese, con particolare intensità nella regione del Darfur, che vent'anni fa era stata devastata da un conflitto di matrice etnica tra i miliziani arabi janjawid, sostenuti dal governo di Khartoum, e le popolazioni nere.

Negli ultimi mesi, le classi medie urbane del Sudan, composte principalmente da professionisti e studenti, sono state colpite duramente dai combattimenti. Circa 8,5 milioni di persone, su una popolazione di 47 milioni, sono state costrette ad abbandonare le proprie case. Tra questi, 1,8 milioni hanno cercato rifugio nei paesi limitrofi, con destinazioni come il Sud Sudan, il Ciad, l'Egitto, l'Etiopia, l'Uganda, la Repubblica Centrafricana.

Ogni aiuto è importante, resistiamo insieme contro le guerre che ci obbligano a fuggire e ci vogliono sempre più sfruttati.

I'm Faorg, maybe someone remembers me in Ventimiglia, Marseille, Genoa, Milan... since 2015, I have been in Europe and we have been fighting against the violence of borders and states that prevent us from finding refuge from the wars that tear our countries apart. I make this appeal because my family is in great danger after the beginning of yet another armed conflict in Sudan. They have had to leave our home and currently are unable to work. They do not have the resources to survive. We don't know how the war will evolve and whether they will have to move again.

For those who do not know the situation: on April 15th, 2023, Khartoum was engulfed by the first violent clashes between the army, under the leadership of General Abdel Fattah al Buhran, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group commanded by General Mohamed Hamdan

Dagalo, better known as Hemetti. These two leaders, once allies in the coup that abruptly halted the process of democratic transition that began after the fall of the regime of Omar al Bashir, have found themselves divided by a growing power struggle. Fighting quickly spread throughout the country, with particular intensity in the Darfur region, which, 20 years ago, was devastated by an ethnically motivated conflict between jinjaweed Arab militiamen, backed by the Khartoum government, and black populations.

In recent months, Sudan's urban middle classes, composed mainly of professionals and students, have been hit hard by the fighting. About 8.5 million people, out of a population of 47 million, have been forced to leave their homes. Among them, 1.8 million have sought refuge in countries neighbouring countries, with destinations including South Sudan, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, Uganda, and the Central African Republic.

Every help matters, let's stand together against the wars that force us to flee and want us more and more exploited.

Je suis Faorg, peut-être que vous vou souvenez de moi à Vintimille, Marseille, Gênes, Milan… depuis 2015, je suis en Europe et nous luttons contre la violence des frontières et des États qui nous empêchent de trouver refuge face aux guerres qui déchirent nos pays. Je lance cet appel car ma famille est en grand danger après le début d'un nouveau conflit armé au Soudan. Iels ont dû quitter notre maison et sont actuellement dans l'incapacité de travailler. Iels n'ont pas les ressources nécessaires pour survivre. Nous ne savons pas comment la guerre évoluera et s'iels devront à nouveau déménager.

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas la situation : le 15 avril 2023, Khartoum a été le théâtre des premiers affrontements violents entre l'armée, dirigée par le général Abdel Fattah al Buhran, et les Forces de soutien rapide (RSF), un groupe paramilitaire commandé par le général Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, mieux connu sous le nom de Hemetti. Ces deux dirigeants, autrefois alliés lors du coup d'État qui a brusquement interrompu le processus de transition démocratique entamé après la chute du régime d'Omar al Bashir, se sont retrouvés divisés par une lutte de pouvoir de plus en plus intense. Les combats se sont rapidement étendus à l'ensemble du pays, avec une intensité particulière dans la région du Darfour qui, il y a 20 ans, a été dévastée par un conflit à caractère ethnique entre les miliciens arabes jinjaweed, soutenus par le gouvernement de Khartoum, et les populations noires.

Ces derniers mois, les classes moyennes urbaines du Soudan, composées principalement de professionnels et d'étudiants, ont été touchées par la crise. durement touchées par les combats. Environ 8,5 millions de personnes, sur une population de 47 millions d'habitant.es, ont été forcées de quitter leur foyer.
