Help Dionysus produce Svelarsi

Questa raccolta fondi nasce dal desiderio di condividere un'esperienza, Svelarsi. Più precisamente: dal desiderio di portare alla luce un percorso partito dallo spettacolo La Merda e dalle sue tematiche, dai laboratori nati intorno al testo di Cristian Ceresoli e dalla mia ricerca sulla nudità e sullo svelamento nella pratica attoriale.

 

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare il Teatro di Dioniso e PAV che ci sostengono nella realizzazione di questo progetto. Ma siamo tante e vogliamo che il palco rimanga invaso da molti corpi. Per questo dobbiamo affrontare costi alti per ripagare giustamente ognuna del proprio lavoro. La raccolta fondi nasce da questo. E anche dall’idea che, quando le condizioni sembrano contrarie, quando i progetti sono al limite dell’irrealizzabile, bisogna fare comunità, rivolgersi direttamente alle persone e costruire insieme a quelle che saranno le nostre future spettatrici la possibilità di invitarle una sera a teatro.

 

Ah, ho detto spettatrici, perché questo lavoro è per una platea di donne o chi si sente/definisce tale. Lavoriamo sulla nudità, sul rispecchiamento, sul riconoscersi nel corpo nudo che abbiamo di fronte e abbiamo esperito, nelle poche occasioni che abbiamo avuto di mostrare stralci di lavoro, una grande potenzialità nel ritrovarci tra simili. Vogliamo portare avanti questo esperimento. Un po’ ardito, forse, ma per noi necessario. (Silvia Gallerano)

 

This fundraiser was born from the desire to share an experience, Svelarsi. More precisely: from the desire to bring to light a path that started from the show La Merda and its themes, from the workshops born around the text by Cristian Ceresoli and from my research on nudity and disclosure in acting practice.

We were lucky enough to meet Teatro di Dioniso and PAV who support us in the realization of this project. But we are a lot! And we want the stage to remain invaded by many bodies. This is why we have to face high costs to rightly repay each one of their work. Fundraising was born from this. And also from the idea that, when the conditions seem to the contrary, when the projects are at the limit of the unachievable, we need to create community, address people directly and build together with those who will be our future spectators the possibility of inviting them one evening to the theater.

Ah, there is a peculiarity. This work is only for an audience of women or those who feel/define like such. We work on nudity, on mirroring, on recognizing ourselves in the naked body in front of us and we have experienced, in the few occasions we have had to show scratch of this work, a great potential in finding ourselves among similar. We want to carry out this experiment. A little daring, perhaps, but necessary for us.
