Dear family and friends,

With heavy hearts, we share the sudden passing of our beloved Aisha Tunu Kumbuka. She was a daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a loving mother to her beautiful 4 years old son, Raheem.

Aisha meant so much to so many of us. Her kindness, warmth, and presence left a mark on everyone who knew her. She loved deeply, showed up for the people she cared about, and her absence has left a space that can never be filled.

Because her passing was completely unexpected, the family is not prepared for the costs that come with laying her to rest. We have created this GoFundMe to help support her family with funeral and memorial expenses, and to help ensure her baby boy is cared for during this incredibly difficult time. All funds raised will be given directly to Aisha’s mum to support the family and ensure Raheem is cared for.
