Our good friend Aisha experienced a great loss by way of fire. What was supposed to be a joyous birthday weekend actually resulted in a family tragedy.
On Saturday 10/27 during the Nor'easter, while cooking breakfast for her family, the smoke detector went off, when she went to assess the situation fire and smoke was bellowing out of her bedroom. She was able to scream out to her children and evacuate the home safely.
The same cannot be said of their home and their belongings.
This has been quite a traumatic experience for Aisha as she had lost her paternal Grandmother to a house fire on Mother's Day.
Aisha and her children are currently displaced as the home requires repair.
We are asking for prayers, and contributions and services to help assist during this time.
