No dia 6 de maio, meu marido Airton Viera foi detido inesperadamente pela imigração (ICE) a caminho do trabalho. Ele foi preso injustamente, pois estavam procurando outra pessoa. Desde então, nossa família está arrasada e de coração partido.

Estamos enfrentando uma batalha difícil, com muitos custos legais e financeiros, tentando trazer o Airton de volta para casa — onde ele merece estar.

Airton é um homem trabalhador, humilde e generoso. Sempre viveu de forma honesta, nunca teve problemas com a justiça e é respeitado por todos que o conhecem. Ele sempre ajudou quem pôde e agora precisa da nossa ajuda.

Estamos fazendo tudo que está ao nosso alcance para lutar pela liberdade dele, mas os custos com advogado e taxas de imigração são muito altos.

Help the campaign for justice and freedom for Airton

On May 6th, my husband Airton Viera was unexpectedly detained by immigration (ICE) on his way to work. He was unjustly arrested because they were looking for someone else. Since then, our family has been devastated and heartbroken.

We are facing an uphill battle, with many legal and financial costs, trying to bring Airton back home — where he deserves to be.

Airton is a hard-working, humble and generous man. He has always lived an honest life, has never had any problems with the law and is respected by everyone who knows him. He has always helped whoever he could and now he needs our help.

We are doing everything we can to fight for his freedom, but the costs of lawyers and immigration fees are very high.
