Airsoft Columbia 2.0 - Indoor and Outdoor Airsoft
Donation protected
Airsoft Columbia started out of necessity. The airsoft community is massively outgrowing locations to play.
For the last four years, Airsoft Columbia has been providing a place to play airsoft almost every weekend of the year. We survived, starting with no budget, relying on donated materials and volunteer staff.
Each year we have doubled the number of players, with thousands of total players, and have nearly reached capacity this year.
Due to problems with the county zoning department, we now cannot continue at our current location without a massive investment, probably worth more than the value of the building itself.
We believe it is time to move on to a bigger, better location, instead of fighting to stay in a place we are very soon about to outgrow.
The community has proved we need a regular place to play, and we believe our experience so far has given us the ability to give the players a world-class Airsoft experience and organize events that will attract players from around the world.
Our new CQB site will ideally be indoor AND outdoor, with lots more space (at least twice the play area).
We will host longer games, be able to host regular casual games, big milsims, and other special events.
Our current first choice has over 60000 sq feet of indoor space across 8 interconnected buildings, with an additional 20 acres of outdoor space.
These are our goals and steps we are taking to make another, better place for the community to play:
1 : Finalize due diligence (local zoning and licensing , insurance, long term lease, etc.) on currently identified location while simultaneously raising funds
Estimated completion time: 45 - 60 days
2 : Plan and execute site preparation (design & build out, indoor and outdoor fields)
Estimated completion time: 45 - 60 days
3. Plan and execute an AWESOME Grand Opening!
Estimated opening time: Late December/early January
NOTE: Gofundme does not allow us to offer any "reward" for donations.
We have removed these until we work out a system.
