So how can you help from here?

The next step is getting the aircraft insured. Up until now it has only been insured as a non-flying project, but it now needs to be insured as an operational aircraft. First-year coverage for a newly completed experimental aircraft can be fairly expensive. If you would like to help, donations toward this cost would be greatly appreciated.

After that, the airplane must complete a minimum of 40 hours of Phase I test flying before I can take any passengers. Most of the cost during this period will simply be fuel. The sooner I complete this testing phase, the sooner I can begin sharing the experience with friends, family, and EAA Young Eagles.
