Hi, my name is Chris. I'm raising money for a close friend who I met at an aviation-related event. Theresa is a young woman with extraordinary focus and determination. She became a flight attendant at age 18, and at age 22 decided she wanted to work in the front of the airplane, as an airline/corporate pilot flying airliners. She quit her flight attendant job, got a big loan, and obtained her commercial pilot license and flight instructor rating. She has been working as a flight instructor to pay the bills and build hours, and now has accumulated enough flight experience to earn her "ATP", the Airline Transport Pilot license, which is the highest pilot's license available - it enables her to fly commercial airliners.
I hope my aviation and business friends are willing to help. Why am I doing this? Because it is so incredible to watch a dedicated young woman work her way through the pilot ratings, sacrificing everything else, with a singular focus and drive, living a life of near poverty (because as everyone in aviation knows, flight instructors and new young pilots aren't paid a living wage!).
Theresa needs this money for the ATP school, a 2-week required course, and her living expenses while attending the school away from home, such as in an AirBnB. Tuition is approximately $4,000 plus two weeks of room and board.
Theresa has an opportunity to interview with a major national charter airline company, but she needs to have the ATP training and written test completed before she can schedule the interview. Let's help her get there!
Please spare what you can and help this young lady achieve her dreams!
