Dear Friends

With great sadness, I am sharing this information about our friend Pallavi Mishra who was my batchmate in medical school. She was vacationing with her husband and daughter in Egypt. Unfortunately, her tour bus had a terrible accident. 6 passengers died on the spot. Her husband and 6 year old daughter are safe but she has had severe brain injury. She is currently intubated in Dar El Foud Hospital in Egypt and her condition is very critical. They are planning to get airlifted to New Delhi as soon as she is stable to transfer. The cost of airlifting would be around $70,000. There isn't much we can do at this moment but pray.  The family is going through so much and the last thing they should be worried about is financial trouble incurred with airlifting and hospital costs. As her friends, colleagues and fellow human beings, let's come together to support our beloved Pallavi.
