Please help us raise funds for Michelle. Michelle is a 36 year old single mother of 3 beautiful children, at present she is completely bed ridden and needs immediate assistance/care from her parents that are in the uk.
Michelle has been sick since 2009 when she had to have all of her large intestine removed and part of her small bowel as well, which then caused a catalyst affect of illnesses such as digestion and absorption of food and fluids. This has many side effects including dehydration and vitamin deficiencies cause many trips a year for bowel blockage clearances. Michelle's diet consist of mainly of liquidised food and fluid that is prepared by friends.
She also has a blood disorder now and is prone to blood clots and has had many issues over the last few years from this disorder.
Her main issues at present are that the bowel Michelle has left is now extremely slow sometimes no movement at all for weeks which results in nausea and feacal vomiting daily that comes with its own complications. Her team of surgeons also tried revolutionary surgery by implanting a battery to help stimulate the remaining bowel, but most recently Michelle got a fistula and huge infection that opened up one of her old surgery scars she then has had to have 3 operations in the last 3 weeks in which case they have had to remove large amount of flesh and infected tissue leaving her with a large gaping hole in her stomach which could take 6 to 12 months to heal she has now got a machine attached to her 24/7. Michelle needs help and support for daily things including going to the toilet, showering and assistance in and out of bed. Michelle is in chronic pain and is on numerous amounts of medication which is not cheap.
Michelle is extremely unwell at present and being a single mum and originally from the uk she has no immediate family for help and support her. Michelle's daughter has just finished school and works 6 days a week as well as caring for her mum and two younger brothers.
So we urgently need to raise funds to fly Michelle's parents out from the U.K. Michelle needs her mum to come and give full time care so she can heal and hopefully recover from the recent surgeries.
Michelle's medications are very costly each week and they need help to pay bills please get behind this amazing family who have been through so much already.
