Airfares for Ari

Hi, I’m the mother of an exceptionally talented 14y/o daughter, Ari.
Ari signed up to play Rugby League 6 years ago, in the U10’s team where she was the only girl in a team full of boys, yet that didn’t bother her one bit and we very quickly realised she had a natural talent for this game. Her first season of this sport she was awarded player of the year and this began the journey into Ari finding her passion for the game. In 2021 she started her first year at High School at a new school that has a Rugby League excellence program. Through school she trialled for the district and regional schoolgirls team, being selected for the Sunshine Coast regional team she then played at her first QLD representative competition in Townsville. In 2022, along with her team of U15 girls, went on to win the Grand Final. 2023 Ari was again selected to represent her school and the Sunshine Coast region at the State Championship on the Gold Coast. Following the State Cup, Ari received a letter inviting her to be part of an international rugby league tour to the UK/Europe to represent Australian schoolgirls. Last week Ari trialled again for the regional team and against some insanely talented girls again she was selected to represent her school and region at the State Championships in Townsville in May this year. Ari is dedicated and committed to Rugby League, she lives and breaths it and see’s this as her future career.
This year has bought Ari to a new team, new playing district and division. Hard and tough competition with a team full of amazingly talented and supportive team mates.
This is where you come in. With selection to these teams and tours comes great cost, I’m reaching out in the hope I can raise some much needed funds to help get Ari to these events. Any and all funds raised will go directly towards the flight costs, playing kit and boots, accommodation and levy costs and taxes for international travel.
Thank you for reading this, we appreciate every bit of help we receive.
