Worlds Toughest Row - Atlantic 2025 - Project Airewave
Donation protected
In December 2025, I will be competing in the World's Toughest Row, a grueling race setting off from La Gomera where I will be rowing non-stop for 16+ hours daily for at least 40+ days until I reach Antigua. This race will cover 3000 miles where I will be battling against fierce storms, 8m tall waves, sores, blisters and sleep deprivation. I hope to raise as much money for the Aire Rivers Trust and Rivers Trust.
This page is to raise the funds required to get to the start line. Before I can undertake this challenge, I will need the mandatory equipment such as PLBs, handheld radio, para-anchor, EPIRBs, life raft and handheld water. I will also need enough food to last the entire crossing of the Atlantic. These are just some of the many costs associated with an unsupported ocean row.
- £10 will provide one day worth of rations
- £100 will help me buy a handheld radio or handheld GPS
- £250 will help me buy a PLB - a Personal Locator Beacon - for emergency situations.
- £1000 will help me buy a para-anchor kit- an underwater sail for storms
250 Club: The 250 Club is a group of supporters from individuals to small businesses who have pledged £250 going directly towards the costs of our challenge and getting us to the start line. The members of this club will have their name/logo on the outside of the boat, inside the cabin and even on the inside of the boat where I will be rowing and will be part of me on the row.
I would be hugely grateful for any amount you can give.
