Air Force vet loses everything in Maui Fire

Aloha, my name is Kristine Wightman and I'm asking for help on behalf of my parents, Frank and Valerie Perry - as well as my sister and brother in law and 91 year old grandmother who all lost their homes last week in the Maui wildfires.

My parents are both born and raised on Maui. My dad served for 26 years in the Air Force and they finally returned home to Maui about 10 years ago to fully enjoy their retirement. They lost their home as well as everything they own in the fire. They literally left with only the clothes they were wearing. My dad's boat, truck and moped were also lost.

My sister and her husband are in the same position as my parents. Thankfully they have their dog, Kahu with them.

My parents are also the primary caregivers to my grandmother - who while was still living in her own home, heavily relies on my parents.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated. My parents and their entire community have a very long road ahead of them.
