With the recent heatwaves, we all know how stiflingly hot our main hall can get. While we’ve successfully installed air conditioning in our side rooms, making them a brilliant, cool escape. The main hall is still struggling! We want to change that. We are raising funds to replace our noisy, outdated gas boiler with a modern air conditioning and ventilation system. This will finally bring much-needed cooling to our main space during the summer, making it a comfortable place for everyone to gather.

In the long run, this upgrade will completely transform the hall year-round. Instead of the old gas system blasting heat up to the ceiling while leaving your feet freezing in winter, the new system will keep the temperature perfectly stable and comfortable from top to bottom. It will also be much quieter and far more energy-efficient. We have an ambitious target of £30,000 to make this happen, but we know that with our community behind us, we can do it.
