Hi there! My name is Madison! Acting and writing are things I’ve always had passion for. Unfortunately, luck has never been on my side. For that reason, my dreams and goals have to be set aside until my financial situation improves.

A couple years ago, I was finally able to find a place of my own. I’m fortunate enough to own a home. As a transgender woman who grew up in a religious household, having my own house meant the world to me. I wasn’t aware of my gender identity at the time of moving nor when I initially posted this fundraiser, but having a safe place to call home means the world to me. However, in 2025, my luck took a turn for the worst. I lost my job, and while searching for work, my air conditioner broke down. Since a monthly payment plan wasn’t an option with the company I had hired to replace the AC, it cost $4000 out of pocket. Despite getting a full time work shortly afterwards, I have been unable to recover the cost. And that scares me.

A lot has changed since my initial posting. I found out I’m trans, I’ve been seeing doctors for a high blood pressure, among other things. It’s been difficult for me to gradually recover from the expense from the air conditioner. My ability to pursue my dreams and receive gender affirming care are dependent on me stopping living paycheck to paycheck. That’s why I’m asking for your help with covering the cost of the AC. If we can cover even a portion of the cost, I may be in a better position to do what I love and get the care I need
