Hi, my name is Arjun. I come from Bangalore, a city in southern India. I am raising funds for my ailing father, Mr. S.Parthasarathy, who needs to undergo an unexpected Open-Heart surgery.

About two weeks ago, my father felt pain in his chest. We immediately rushed him to the hospital, where the doctors diagnosed him with Valve Blockage and Dislocation. The doctors have said that he will have to be treated with an Open-Heart Surgery with a new Aortic Valve Replacement. The surgery is due to take place on 9th July 2024 and the total cost of the surgery will be €20,000.

I come from a middle-class family in India. My father, the sole breadwinner, has always been a pillar of strength for us, caring and ensuring every need of our family was met. He is now struggling with a heart blockage that requires immediate medical attention. The medical bills have been piling up, and our family of three (my mother, father, and I) is struggling to cover the expenses for the surgery.

As an only child who started earning in mid-2023, I have been clearing my student debt and taking on the responsibility of caring for my aging parents. However, I do not have the means to cover the unexpected expenses of my father’s treatment. I am requesting funds of €15,000 to cover the cost of the treatment. It has been a daunting couple of weeks, filled with worry, anxiety, and stress.

Therefore, I am humbly requesting a monetary contribution, in whatever capacity you may be able to provide. No matter how small or big, every contribution will bring us closer to our goal and alleviate part of the stress of covering the treatment’s expenses.
