Reuben (Left) Aidan (Middle) Will (Right). We are 3 school mates who have decided to take on the challenge of running the Aintree half marathon in July 2026. As a group we have decided to set up a go fund me to raise as much money as we can for 3 chosen charities. The charities we have decided to pick are Cancer Research UK, The British Heart Foundation and Marie Curie . Each charity is excellently run and we have decided we want to give our support to them. Cancer research UK is a charity that was formed in 2002 with all money raised going towards the research and information to help tackle cancer. As for the British Heart Foundation, it is the UK’s largest independent funder of cardiovascular research, dedicated to saving lives from heart and circulatory diseases. Founded in 1961, it funds research into conditions like heart attacks, stroke, and vascular dementia, while providing support to millions living with these diseases. And finally, Marie Curie is the UK's leading end-of-life charity, providing free specialised nursing care, hospice services, and support for people living with any terminal illness, such as cancer, dementia, or motor neurone disease. Every penny raised will be split evenly into these 3 charities. Thank you for taking the time to read.
