This past Wednesday, September 17th, a devastating 5-alarm fire took over 481 Van Brunt Street, the building that houses our beloved workspace "General Waste", the headquarters of our business AINT WET. The building sustained extensive damage from the fire as well as the 48 hour water pumping efforts to put it out. Documentation is limited because we have not been able to fully access the space yet as they evaluate the structural damage to the building. We have included the images that we have been able to take. We are both born and raised in Red Hook and have been active on the pier for over 10 years. We are reaching out to our extended community to help us find our footing after this terrible loss.
