Ainsley Kaiser

Hi my name is Ainsley Kaiser and I am a Sophomore at Loreauville High School. I have recently been accepted to the CIEE Global Navigator High School Study Abroad program. I have been selected out of thousands of applicants to spend 4 weeks in Rome, Italy learning about their language and culture.

I am an honor student with a 4.0 GPA, I am hoping to further my education and knowledge of not only the language but the culture of Italy. I have the opportunity to earn 4 college credits which is sponsored by Tulane University to go towards my major of International Relations, which I plan on pursuing after I graduate from high school. I believe that this program will broaden my communication skills and help me build connections with a different variety of people. Living in a small town/village my whole life it will be amazing to see how different cultures live and also talk to other cultures about my own Cajun culture and how unique our culture is. This program will open my eyes and change my perspective to a new and different way of thinking - which would be beneficial to my developing mind.

The tuition for this program is $7250 plus airfare - I was one of the few students who did receive a scholarship of $2175 which brings my total to $5075 plus airfare. This tuition fee includes all of my language lessons, cultural classes, excursions, housing and meals. I have created a fundraising strategy to help offset these cost by tutoring kids and teaching piano but I need your help in accomplishing my ultimate goal of studying abroad - with your contribution I will surely reach my goal.
