I am trying to raise money to help my best friend Aimee. Aimee has been hit really hard with unexpected medical bills at a time when her income has also been hit hard by COVID and she also lost her medical insurance. 

Aimee has Diverticulitis and was told today she needs to have surgery on Tuesday to have part of her colon removed. 

Aimee has already gone through her savings due to medical bills and now her rent is due and she is facing an overwhelming amount of debt as she’s looking at a one week stay in the hospital and a long recovery.  Her medical bills alone will most likely exceed $50,000.  Our short term goal right now is to meet immediate needs with both medical and personal bills due
