I began the process to order a new wheelchair as mine is on its last leg and was informed that this time (when I NEVER have before) I will be required to pay for part of my wheelchair. A new wheelchair is almost as much as a car and to me is far more important. The process to order a chair can take up to a year and they will not begin my process until I can pay at least a portion of what I will owe. I am not a fan of asking for help but my wheelchair is too important to not try to ask for help with this as mine will be falling apart soon and I can not function without it.
