Aimee Snow is Going Home
Donation protected
Aimee's journey on this earth has ended. Now she is going home to be with God, the Saints and the deities that Aimee prayed to every day. Sadly, Aimee died alone in the care of medical professionals while I witnessed their efforts. She had asked for a breathing treatment at the nursing home after taking her medications and when the nurse returned she was unconscious. Although they administered Narcan, which Adrienne says never touched her, she coded and they administered CPR. Her heart came back once but her weak lungs couldn't keep up. After being revived three more times at the hospital, I had to let her go. There was nothing more to be done. She didn't want to be maintained on machines. She never regained consciousness.
We are still dealing with medical bills from the past several months. The Parkview Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she was in ICU for 10 days in October, forgave her debt after applying for family aid. There are still others due and I am sure more will follow. On top of this now, we have more than $12,000 for funeral expenses that cannot be accounted for... What does one do, there is no one to say... I never expected to have to bury our Aimee, and we thought for sure she would stay on this Earth for a while longer. We are sending Aimee home on Thursday. Although she would love flowers, we are asking that you and all you know to help support us through this final phase of her short life.
God Bless You All!
