Aimee Sala, a local hero with a big mission and an even bigger heart, could use our help AIMING HIGH.
Aimee is the founder of Aim High, a fitness studio that not only offers classes for the body but also provides many opportunities for people to exercise compassion for others through community service and connection.
Community service is how Aim High connects. Aim High supports fundraising events, donation classes, supports local families in need and two local soup kitchens. Aim High emphasizes gaining mind and body strength through the variety of classes, enabling those who attend to use their acquired strengths to lift others in need in and around the community. That is what Aimee calls AIMING HIGH.
Despite the COVID-19 shutdown, Aimee and the community of compassion she has built, remains hard at work serving the community. She continues to support two local soup kitchens through donations. She has transformed her studio into a safe place where people can come for food and clothing; and has been feeding over 70 families a day, again, all through donations from the community. Aim High has been featured on the ABC FYI Philly and NBC news, highlighting the mission of Aim High that continues to build strength and light in the community during this dark time.
