Aim for the tournament!

Hi, everyone!

I’m Andyman, owner and creator of Culdcept Central, the largest online community of all things Culdcept.

I founded this community back in 2008, after I couldn’t find a reliable source of information for the game series that I love. It started small, but over time we developed chat rooms, forums, guides and new ways to enjoy everything the series has to offer while also providing a safe and welcoming community for people hang out. I’m happy to report that we’ve fostered a fantastic group of people and continue to show the world that the West loves this franchise.

It’s because of this community that I received an invitation to attend their Culdcept Revolt tournament in Tokyo, Japan, on March 23rd, 2024!

But there’s an obstacle. It will cost roughly $5,000 for my wife and I to travel to Japan for this amazing opportunity. That’s well beyond our means, but… maybe we can make it happen together?

Now, while this is a huge opportunity for me personally, I’d like to try and make this a worthy effort for your assistance. For many years, the boundary between Japanese players and Western players has been a significant gap, largely due to perceptions that Western players aren’t as invested in the series as their Japanese counterparts. I want to be the bridge that shows Japan that we Western players are not only invested, but eager to be a part of the culture Culdcept has to offer.

I know it’s asking a lot to request money so I can fly around the world to participate in a video game tournament. Some might call it absurd and I absolutely understand if this isn’t something you want to contribute toward. If by some small chance we can band together and make this happen, I will do everything in my power to share the experience with the world and show OmiyaSoft just how devoted Culdcept fans are worldwide.

I humbly ask for your support to help make this trip a reality. Just thinking about traveling to Japan is surreal to me. Canada is as far outside the USA as I’ve gone. Actually being there and going head-to-head with Japanese Culdcept players who have loved this amazing series far longer than I have is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would be honored to enjoy and share.

Thank you very, very much for even considering a donation. It means the world to me that you’ve come here and read this. If you’re a Cepter, I appreciate your participation in the community as well. You are the reason the Culdcept community is magnificent and has been for decades. May your dice rolls be lucky and your card draws be magical.

Aim for the castle (or the last gate!),
Andyman
