AIM AIR Remote Missionary Support (RMS)
“Some of you guys from AIM AIR should take a break and come help me put in this solar [power] system.” This text message from a missionary in South Sudan was the spark that brought AIM AIR Remote Missionary Support (RMS) to life.
Missionaries in remote areas often face quiet, disheartening storms: rejection by an ungrateful host community, betrayal as a close friend turns away from following Jesus, or having to pack and say goodbye in minutes to catch an evacuation flight. In addition, there are frustrating obstacles that often interrupt opportunities to serve, love, and minister. These often feel like a leak in their ship amidst the storm: damaged solar panels, dead batteries, motorcycles that won’t start and water pipes that leak.
It would easily drive lesser women and men into wanting to quit.

No matter what those frustrations are, and no matter how remote their community is, you have a special opportunity to help. You have access to our skilled mechanics with the knowledge and ability to get the job done, and the pilots and planes to get them there safely.
Our request is simple: would you send a team of pilots and mechanics every month to one of our remote missionary locations? Together we can fix their Land Cruisers, motorcycles, solar wiring, compound fencing, or whatever their greatest needs are. After the trip has happened, our pledge is to share the stories, pictures and testimonials with each of you who made it possible.

We can’t stop the storms from happening, but we can be a gushing source of encouragement to missionaries by easing their burden by helping stop the leaks in the ship. We believe that together we can serve missionaries in remote areas so that they can stay focused on the ministry of making disciples. Our hope is that consistent, repeated trips will encourage them, so they can go the distance year after year.
April 26-30 our team will be traveling to a village in Eastern Kenya, where a missionary couple has lived for over 3 decades ministering to a nomadic people group. We will be helping to wire a workshop, build a fence for a borehole, and do some other small projects. Will you join us?

All funds given to AIM through this GoFundMe campaign will go towards the AIM Remote Missionary Support fund - a project of Africa Inland Mission, to fund up to 10 support trips during the 2021 year.
Interested in giving by check or other means or becoming a monthly investor? Contact us via our website, and we’d love to help set that up.
