Ailbhe's Wish to Walk

Hi, my name is Ailbhe and I'm 3.  At 10 months I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy as a result of a brain injury sustained around the time of my birth.  Due to a last minute cancellation I've an opportunity to travel to America for life changing surgery in Feb 2020. My dream is to be able to walk. Can you please help me raise the money for my dream to come true?

There is no cure for Cerebral Palsy but after a lot of research and talking to other CP families my Mammy and Daddy applied to world renowned neurosurgeon Dr T.S Park (St Louis Children's Hospital, Missouri)  for life changing SDR (selective dorsal rhizotomy) surgery.  SDR surgery involves cutting my damaged sensory nerve fibres to permanently eliminate my painful muscle spasms. Dr Park who has carried out over 4,000 of these operations says I'm an excellent candidate and thinks that with a lot of post-op therapy and hard work I will be able to walk and live a pain free life. 

I am a typical 3 year old who loves music, Paw Patrol and playing with my cousins and friends.  I couldn’t be more excited for a future without pain and a chance to live my life to its fullest potential.
