Chère Famille, Chers Amis,
Comme plusieurs d’entre vous le savez déjà, Yoram a été victime d’un accident cérébral hémorragique au tronc cérébral il y a 4 ans et demi à l’âge de 50 ans. Cet ACV a provoqué une paralysie du corps et une aphasie (perte de la parole). Sa mémoire et l’aspect cognitif du cerveau fonctionnent comme avant BH.
Depuis la dernière campagne, et par votre immense générosité d’il y a 2 ans, Yoram a pû faire quelques progrès grâce aux traitements suivants:
- Orthophonie pour travailler la déglutition, sa communication et sa phonation.
- Thérapie d’oxygène hyperbare pour améliorer son focus, son énergie et sa motricité. La thérapie d'oxygène permet aussi de favoriser la neuro plasticité cérébrale.
- Le robot de marche de la clinique Neuro-Concept, spécialiste en réhabilitation.
- Thérapie de physiothérapie neurologique afin de promouvoir la création de nouvelles routes de communication cérébrale.
- Séance de Kinésiologie avancée.
- Séance d’ergothérapie.

C’est une longue bataille et Yoram travaille très fort durant ces traitements pour maximiser le résultat avec une volonté et une détermination exceptionnelle.

Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you already know, Yoram suffered a hemorrhagic stroke to the brain stem 4 1/2 years ago at the age of 50. This stroke caused paralysis of the body and aphasia (loss of speech). His memory and cognitive brain function as before BH.
Since the last campaign, and thanks to your immense generosity 2 years ago, Yoram has been able to make some progress thanks to the following treatments:
- Speech therapy to work on swallowing, communication and phonation.
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy to improve his focus, energy and motor skills. Oxygen therapy also promotes cerebral neuroplasticity.
- The walking robot from rehabilitation specialist Neuro-Concept.
- Neurological physiotherapy to promote the creation of new cerebral communication routes.
- Advanced kinesiology session.
- Occupational therapy.

It's a long battle and Yoram works very hard during these treatments to maximize the result with exceptional willpower and determination.
