Urgent! Call for donations for Mathieu, a 4-year-old Malagasy child suffering from Blood Cancer, stage 4.

A few months ago, our little child, Mathieu, only 4 years old, suffered from intense and persistent pain in the abdomen. Some swelling started to appear on some parts of his body including his neck and right eye. After several treatments with no improvement, he was diagnosed with an advanced blood cancer: the Burkitt Lymphoma.

We tried everything from drugs, surgery and intensive chemotherapy from several hospitals in Madagascar, but unfortunately, his health still deteriorated with no improvement at all. The doctor said that our son Mathieu has reached a very advanced stage of Burkitt Lymphoma (stage 4), a stage at which no hospital in Madagascar is able to provide the necessary care anymore, and requires an urgent medical evacuation in India for a better specialized medical care.

We spent all our savings and sold all our goods to cover his medical care and now we are left with no financial resources. The costs for his treatment, travel to the hospital, as well as the daily needs for his international medical evacuation are too expensive and exceed our means.

But even if we can’t afford the costs, we won’t give up and will fight for our son’s health and recovery. Mathieu is our unique child and he still has every chance to live in this world.

That’s why we desperately need your help and call on your generosity to save our son’s life.

We appeal to you and to all those with a generous heart to help us raise a total sum of €50,300 for his medical treatmets in India (MIOT Hospitals, Chennai) through this fundraiser.

These funds will be used for the following reasons:

- Initial consultation: €2,000

- Various tests and medical expenses (Scintigraphy, IRM, CT scan, etc.): €8,500

- 6 Cycles of Chemotherapy: €30,000

- Travel, stay, and administrative costs: €9,800

Even the smallest donation €5 or €10 will help maintain hope to save our little Mathieu.

Urgence ! Appel aux dons pour Mathieu, un enfant malgache de 4 ans qui souffre du cancer du sang au stade 4.

Il y a quelques mois, notre petit garçon Mathieu, âgé seulement de 4 ans se plaignait d’une douleur abdominale intense et persistante. Des gonflements ont commencé à apparaitre au niveau de son corps, de son cou et de son œil droit. Après plusieurs interventions sans amélioration, il a été diagnostiqué d’un cancer du sang : le lymphome de Burkitt avancé.

On a tout essayé, entre médicaments, opération, intervention chirurgicale au niveau abdominal et chimiothérapies intensives depuis les hôpitaux de Fianarantsoa jusqu’à Antananarivo mais malheureusement son état de santé s’est aggravé et nous voyons son corps s’affaiblir de jour en jour sans pouvoir rien faire. Notre petit garçon Mathieu a atteint un stade très avancé (stade 4) qui nécessite maintenant une évacuation sanitaire en urgence hors de Madagascar pour un suivi médical spécialisé.

Ayant dépensé toutes nos économies et vendu tous nos biens pour assurer sa prise en charge médicale, nous nous retrouvons aujourd’hui sans aucune ressource. Les frais liés aux soins, aux déplacements vers l’hôpital ainsi que les besoins quotidiens pour son évacuation sanitaire dépassent désormais largement nos moyens.

Mais en tant que mère et père, nous refusons d’accepter que ce soit la fin de son histoire, car Mathieu, notre fils unique, a encore toutes ses chances de survie.

Alors nous faisons appels aux dons à vous et à tous ceux qui ont un grand cœur afin de réunir au plus vite une somme au total de 50300€ pour son hospitalisation en Inde (MIOT hospitals Chennai) via cette cagnotte.

Ces fonds serviront pour les raisons suivantes :

- Consultation initiale : 2000 €

- Examens et frais médicaux (Scintigraphie, IRM, Scanner etc…) : 8500 €

- 6 cycles de chimiothérapie : 30000€

- Frais liés au déplacement, séjour et administratifs : 9800 €
