Lundi le 19 avril dernier, un incendie a éclaté au 755 rue Labonté dans l'agglomération du Vieux-Longueuil. Il n'aura fallu que quelques minutes pour que les flammes s'emparent de la propriété où résidaient Laurent Baril et ses deux enfants. Heureusement, personne n'a été blessé. Les dommages sont matériels, mais la route vers la reconstruction sera longue.
Les voisins de la rue Labonté souhaitent se mobiliser pour offrir un peu de répit à Laurent et sa famille. Tous se sentent impuissants devant cette situation fâcheuse et désastreuse. Nous sommes consternés et souhaitons recueillir des fonds pour venir en aide à la famille Baril rapidement. Ainsi, nous espérons pouvoir leur offrir un certain réconfort malgré la malchance. On Monday night, April 19th, a fire erupted at 755 Labonté Street in the Vieux-Longueuil Borough. It only took a few minutes before the flames took over the entire property where Laurent Baril and his children lived. Luckily, no one was injured. The damages were only materialistic, but the road to rebuilding their home will be a long one.
The neighbours of Labonté Street are mobilizing to help Laurent and his family. We all feel powerless in the face of these terrible events. We are appalled by the situation and are hoping to raise funds to help the Baril Family get back on their feet. Thus, we would like to offer some comfort during these trying times. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
