Aiding the Andersons

Anthony, Alba, AJ, and Aly Anderson are the classic example of a hard working, dedicated, enduring family. Together, they have accomplished so much. Anthony supported their family working as a diesel mechanic at UPS while his wife, Alba, accomplished her lifelong goal of graduating as a Registered Nurse. Until their story came to a screeching halt when Anthony would be diagnosed with Esophageal cancer and they entered the battle for his life. Alba and Anthony are no stranger to the evil that is cancer; Alba fought for her life during her pre-teen years and has been a survivor for over 15 years. When Anthony's diagnosis came down the pipeline, they knew exactly what he needed and that was the absolute best of care. He was receiving treatment though Stanford University and the outlook seemed great. However tragedy struck again when scan after scan, the cancer that invaded Anthony's body just seemed to spread until he needed to be hospitalized for complications. He spent 28 precious days away from his family at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto while Alba was managing his care from afar and taking care of their two beautiful children. This was especially difficult for Anthony because before cancer, he could be the devoted father he was born to be. He spent all of his time outside of work with his wife and kids. He was AJ’s basketball coach, and one of his piano instructors. Not only is he the best father to AJ and Aly, but a phenomenal husband. When Alba was at school or at a clinical rotation, she would never have to worry. Super dad Anthony would be taking care of the kids, making dinner, and ensuring the house was running in ship-shape. Anthony has always been the type of person who is devoted and loyal. He has never taken his precious family for granted and never will.
Ultimately, Anthony's condition advanced and their only option now is hospice care. For those not familiar with hospice, this means that the Anderson's are spending their time with Anthony and there will be no medical advancement of treatment until the time comes that he enters into the Kingdom of God.
The Anderson's have not asked for a dime in help through all of this tragedy. Anthony has always worked full time to provide for their family. Now, in order to provide them with the maximum amount of time together, I am proposing we raise as much money as we can to ease any financial responsibilities and burdens that they may face.
Anything will help this precious family and their time together.
In this time we also ask for your prayers for the Anderson Family as they navigate though these stormy waters.
We ask that everyone watches GoFundMe or Facebook for updates in order to not overwhelm Anthony and Alba at this time.
