Hi friends. Most of you know that I have gone through losing a job and getting a divorce in the last year. Now the apartment I rent has started to become unlivable. The mailboxes get broken into on a regular basis, and things like my W2s and other legal documents have been stolen. Now they have a predatory tow company patrolling our parking lot and they booted my car even though I have a parking permit sticker on the car. To add insult to injury, I cannot get anyone from the apartment complex to call the tow company to get the boot removed, and I am now sitting in my car waiting for the tow truck to come as they have threatened to tow my car because I refuse to pay for something that was done illegally. I am at my wits end. I am barely making ends meet, being a single mom is incredibly stressful, and I need my car to go to my various substitute teaching jobs this school year without having to worry about coming outside to see my car booted or towed again. I really feel defeated and at the end of my rope. I want to try to move, but I can’t afford to. So I’m asking for your help to raise the money to move somewhere else. I would really appreciate you rallying for me. I know everything is shit in this country right now and a lot of us are scared. I’m scared. But I’m reaching out, asking for what I need.
