One of the saddest news anyone can receive in their lifetime is that the home you worked so hard to build and raise a family within is no longer standing due to a fire. These were the news given to our sister a few days ago at work while helping others recover from tragedies such as this.

This home belonged to our father, where he raised his extended family, and after his passing, my sister took over to care for and raise her own family. Memories now only remain, but the hard sacrifices my sister endured to turn this place into a home for her daughters make it more difficult to understand why such a place of fond and beautiful memories is no longer standing.

This home was her gathering place, where everyone met for the holidays, where everyone reunited after long days of work or apart, where plans were made for weddings, where plans were made to help others in need. I respectfully request, if you can, to find it in your heart to please help us rebuild this place into the fortress it once was, and help our family and primarily our sister, to regain a sense of security she desperately needs.

Funds will be strictly used to defer costs associated with fire damage recovery and clean up, cover basic living necessities and to help defray reconstruction costs.
