Go fund me for Donna and Honesty

Im starting this for a good friend and her granddaughter. Donna is a good friend of 50 years , a fellow classmate at Bayshore Middle and High schools. She is a loving , caring , charming and devoutly Christian woman who has taken on the responsibility of raising her 12 year old granddaughter Honesty. With little to no help from others Donna has given her granddaughter a loving and caring home but times are tough especially with a 12 year old and could use some help but would never ask for it herself

Honesty is a charming, smart , cute, precious, funny , gifted and delightful young women who excells at many things including school and at this age needs and desires many things that Donna struggles to provide. She sees how her grandmother may sometimes struggle and I’m sure hesitates to ask for things a 12 year old young lady may need or want.

I know little to nothing about Honesty’s parents other than the father has struggles of his own and unable to assist in the raising of his daughter…the mother passed away suddenly 4 years ago from a heart attack and maternal grandparents are elderly with health problems and are unabe to help with raising Honesty....it all fell on Donna who didn't hesitate to rise to the task of giving her granddaughter the love and support she would need ...that was until now .

That’s where I come in…and you ...because as its said " it takes a village to raise a child "

I will be setting this fund up to help them both by giving financial support so that Honesty can achieve all she is destined for in her educational needs and other activities , including school supplies, clothes and extra curricular activities. As well as giving Donna a little peace of mind and a financial cushion so that she can enjoy her senior years without having to work a full time job and spend time with her granddaughter doing things they both love.

Donna’s other option is to uproot herself and her granddaughter and move to a new location with her ex husband. Although better financially it is not better emotionally or spiritually for either of them….especially removing a girl at this age from a social and educational environment where she is thriving.

I don’t look at this as charity, a hand out or even a hand up…its an investment for the future of this charming young lady and possibly the world .

With the new school year approaching Im sure there are thing that are needed and we can assist with.

Anything to help would be a blessing and every little bit helps. If you are not in a position to help please at least share it , you never know who might see it and be able to make a deserving difference in someones life.
