Aiding a Survivor's Journey to a Safe Home

It’s very difficult to put myself and my struggle on display. I feel embarrassed and ashamed, but I need to put my pride aside as my children’s and my safety is priority. I am a mother of 3 children; Ozzy is 8, Sirena is 9 and Ariel is 10. We are domestic and sexual abuse survivors with an active permanent restraining order that is supposed to prevent contact from our abuser. As you may know, restraining orders don’t do much to protect. We have been stalked and harassed repeatedly, multiple reports for violations to the RO have been made and nothing has been done to stop these incidences. I have finally found permanent housing to move my kids and I somewhere safe. The reason I am reaching out for help is because I cannot afford the security deposit and moving expenses. I know that a DV shelter is an option, but I’m trying my hardest to maintain normalcy for my kids who have already been through so much hardship. I am saving this option as a last resort. My kids and I are doing everything right, we are actively involved in therapy/DV counseling and I work full-time to support them. I am not asking for a hand out- but a hand up. Furthermore, even if you can’t donate, your encouragement or referrals to organizations that can help us is welcomed. Thank you so much for taking the time.
