At the end of July, my car was broken into. The window was shattered and several valuables were stolen, including the money order I had just purchased for August rent. I filed a police report, but unfortunately the culprits were not found and I was left to try and pick up the pieces on my own.

As a single mother, I work hard to provide stability and security for my daughter. Asking for help has always been difficult for me, and I carried a lot of shame about reaching out. But now I am at a point where I cannot sustain without support. We need help covering August rent so that we can stay in our home and regain some stability after this unexpected hardship.
