Bonjour à tous,
Depuis maintenant plus de 2 ans, nous sommes en clinique de fertilité. Nous avons choisi la clinique Fertilys pour plusieurs raisons.
Pour commencer, par leur approche humaine et des gens à notre écoute. De notre côté, nous n’avons aucun problème. Simplement, une infertilité inexpliquée.
Après avoir passé une batterie de test, une opération et des biopsies, nous avons fait 5 IAC (insémination intra-utérine) qui se sont avérer un échec. À notre dernier rendez-vous avec notre médecin, Dr Ates, nous avons donc été mis sur la liste d’attente pour la FIV. À se moment, le Ministre Lionel Carman, nous avait fait miroiter la gratuité de notre FIV. Nous devions attendre au 15 Novembre 2021 pour y avoir accès, journée de la mise en service du programme de procréation médicale assisté.
Rendu au 15 novembre 2021, nous avons eu la surprise d’être accepté. Que de joie!
Malheureusement, dû à un désaccord avec le gouvernement, nous avons appris que notre clinique était sur pause.
Le 12 janvier 2022, nous avons appris que notre clinique, pour continuer de fonctionner, devais se dissocier du Région d’Assurance Maladie du Québec.
Nous avions donc 2 choix : prendre notre dossier, aller dans une autre clinique, refaire tous les tests et les examens, avoir la chance de se faire dire non et devoir attendre en 2024-2025 pour notre FIV (qui me donneras 40 ans) ou continuer avec des médecins / infirmières qui nous aide depuis plus de 2 ans et qui sont au courant de notre dossier. Nous avons donc pris la décision de rester.
Malheureusement, nous devons débourser les frais. Notre FIV, nos consultations et notre médication. Nous demandons donc votre aide pour ramasser la somme que nous avons besoin.

To begin with, with their human approach and the people who listen to us. From our side, we have no problem. Simply, unexplained infertility.
After passing a battery of tests, an operation and biopsies, we did 5 IAC (intrauterine insemination) which turned out to be a failure. At our last appointment with our doctor, Dr Ates, we were put on the waiting list for IVF. At that time, the Minister Lionel Carman, had made us dangle the free of our IVF. We had to wait until November 15, 2021 to have access to it, the day of the commissioning of the assisted medical procreation program.
By November 15, 2021, we were surprised to be accepted. What joy!
Unfortunately, due to a disagreement with the government, we learned that our clinic was on hiatus.
On January 12, 2022, we learned that our clinic, in order to continue to operate, had to dissociate itself from the Quebec Health Insurance Region.
So we had 2 choices: take our file, go to another clinic, redo all the tests and exams, have the chance to be told no and have to wait until 2024-2025 for our IVF (which will give me 40 years) or continue with doctors / nurses who have been helping us for more than 2 years and who are aware of our file. So we made the decision to stay.
Unfortunately, we have to pay the costs. Our IVF, our consultations and our medication. We therefore ask for your help to raise the amount we need.
