Nous lançons cette campagne pour venir en aide à notre fils, un jeune homme passionné et déterminé qui tente de réaliser son rêve : faire carrière comme pilote dans l’Ouest canadien.

Pour atteindre son objectif, il avait tout mis en œuvre : il s’était acheté un campeur pour y vivre, bravant l’hiver et les conditions difficiles, afin de poursuivre sa formation et bâtir sa carrière. C’était sa maison principale, son petit refuge, son point d’ancrage dans cette grande aventure.

Hier encore, il quittait notre foyer avec le sourire et les larmes aux yeux, direction Edmonton, heureux de retourner vers son rêve. Mais à son arrivée, le choc : son campeur avait été volé.

En un instant, il a tout perdu — son moyen de transport, sa maison, ses vêtements, ses effets personnels, son équipement de camping, sa petite cuisine, son matériel photo et surtout, tous ses souvenirs de vie.

Bien qu’il ait une assurance, celle-ci ne couvre ni le campeur, ni son contenu.

Notre fils est un aventurier, un battant, mais aujourd’hui il a besoin d’un peu d’aide pour se relever et repartir à zéro.

Chaque contribution, petite ou grande, l’aidera à retrouver un minimum de stabilité : racheter des vêtements, se loger temporairement, remplacer son matériel essentiel et poursuivre son parcours vers son rêve de devenir pilote.

We’re launching this campaign to help our son — a passionate and determined young man who’s working hard to achieve his dream of becoming a pilot in Western Canada.

To reach his goal, he put everything he had into it: he bought a camper to live in, braving the winter and harsh conditions so he could continue his training and build his career. That camper was his home, his little refuge, his anchor in this great adventure.

Just yesterday, he left our home with a smile and tears in his eyes, heading back to Edmonton, happy to return to his dream. But upon arrival, the shock: his camper had been stolen.

In an instant, he lost everything — his vehicle, his house, his clothes, personal belongings, camping gear, small kitchen setup, photography equipment, and most painfully, all the memories tied to his journey.

Although he has insurance, it doesn’t cover the camper or any of its contents.

Our son is an adventurer, a fighter, but today he needs a bit of help to get back on his feet and start over.

Every contribution, big or small, will help him regain some stability — to buy clothes, find temporary housing, replace essential items, and continue pursuing his dream of becoming a pilot.
