Durant la nuit glaciale du 29 janvier, l'étable principale et le garage de la ferme familiale ont été détruits par le feu, tuant la majorité du troupeau de moutons qui s'y trouvait et détruisant la plupart des équipements légers et l'outillage. Le bâtiment n'étant pas assurable à cause de son âge, ils n'obtiendront aucune aide des assurances. Heureusement, personne n'a été blessé.

Mais la perte financière est immense, et va beaucoup plus loin que la perte tragique du troupeau et du bâtiment. Il s'agit d'un rêve familial qui part en fumée ainsi que du gagne-pain d'une jeune entrepreneure de 20 ans, M. Soulard étant propriétaire avec sa fille Frédérique.

Le montant à atteindre de cette campagne de financement ne représente que le coût de reconstruction du bâtiment, sans compter l'équipement et les animaux. Merci de tout cœur d'aider cette famille du Québec à porter le poid financier de cette catastrophe!

On the freezing night of January 29, the main building of the Soulard Farm was destroyed by fire, killing most of the sheep housed inside and destroying all the equipment inside. Thankfully, nobody was hurt. Due to its age, the building could not be insured, so they won't have any compensation from the insurances.

In addition to the loss of animal life and buildings, the financial loss is immense. With the fire, a family dream and a young entrepreneur world vanishes, as the sheep were owned by Mr Soulard, the father, and his 20 year old daughter who worked full-time, and more, on the farm.

The goal of this fundraiser covers only the reconstruction of the building, excluding the sheep and the equipment.
