La vie de Sandra a toujours été une succession de montagnes russes, les unes plus difficiles que les autres. Sandra est née avec le syndrome de Laurence-Moon (SLM), un syndrome caractérisé par des manifestations neurologiques, ophtalmologiques et endocriniennes progressives débutant dans l'enfance et provoquant une détérioration gravement handicapante. À quatre ans, Sandra a eu la leucémie et elle a survécu.
À seulement 41 ans, on annonce à Sandra et à sa famille qu’elle est atteinte d’une tumeur au foie avec métastases et non opérable. Suite au dernier suivi médical, les spécialistes ont a peine donné quelques mois à vivre.
C’est une nouvelle extrêmement douloureuse pour la famille de Sandra, surtout pour Rosa, sa mère, qui a fait tout son possible pour être auprès de sa fille tout en élevant ses 2 autres garçons.
Nous demandons votre aide pour nous aider à offrir à Sandra une fin de vie digne et de lui permettre de réaliser ses rêves les plus chers autour de sa famille.

Sandra's life has always been a roller coaster ride, some more difficult than others. Sandra was born with Laurence Moon Syndrome (LMS), a syndrome characterized by progressive neurological, ophthalmological and endocrine manifestations that begin in childhood and cause severely disabling deterioration. At age of four, Sandra had leukemia and survived.
At only 41 years old, Sandra and her family were told that she had a metastatic liver tumor that was not operable. After the last medical follow-up, the specialists gave her only a few months to live.
These are extremely painful news for Sandra's family, especially for Rosa, her mother, who has done everything possible to be with her daughter while raising her 2 other boys.
We are asking for your help to give Sandra a dignified end to her life and to allow her to realize her most cherished dreams around her family.
