c’est avec une immense tristesse que des dizaines de personnes et moi, avons été secouées par une nouvelle qui allait changer le chemin de Victoria Sénéchal, 20 ans,Mascouche.
Après plusieurs mois de malaises, de rendez-vous à la clinique, de tests a l’hopital,d’essoufflement, de douleur et d ‘angoisse … de ne pas savoir; un jour d’hiver , le verdict est tombé comme une tonne de brique. Un lymphome médiastinal à grande cellule B.Un cancer! Le mot qui fait mal juste à l’écrire. Lui qu’on ne veut jamais entendre , ni de prêt , ni de loin.
La vie bascule et les traitements commencent rapidement: le DA-R-EPOCH. Une chimiothérapie agressive qui implique 5 jours d’hospitalisation et 16 jours de repos a la maison et ce , durant 6 à 8 cycles.
Evidemment, victoria doit quitter son emploi de réceptionniste et mettre ses études et ses projets sur pause et se concentrer sur le plus important: sa guérison!
Après le choc de la nouvelle derrière nous, je prends quelques minutes de votre temps et vous invite a ouvrir votre coeur…. Petits ou gros montant,la reconnaissance de Victoria sera immense,à l’ image de sa force intérieure et de son grand coeur .Le montant amassé l’aidera a payer ses obligations qui reviennent tous les mois. Et pourquoi pas, l’aider a rêver à tout ce qu’il y a de beau devant elle.La perte de salaire sera d’une durée indéterminée car l’assurance emploi lui a été refusé.
Victoria est un modèle de résilience. Sa force de caractère et sa joie de vivre, même dans l’épreuve , est inspirante.Nous sommes choyés de te côtoyer .

It is with great sadness that dozens of people and I were shaken by the news that would change the path of Victoria Sénéchal, 20 years old, from Mascouche. After several months of discomfort, appointments at the clinic, tests at the hospital, shortness of breath, pain and anguish... not knowing; on a winter day, the verdict fell like a ton of bricks. A mediastinal large cell lymphoma B. A cancer! The words that hurt just to write them. The one that we never want to hear, neither close nor far. Life is turned upside down and the treatments start quickly: the DA-R-EPOCH. An aggressive chemotherapy that involves 5 days of hospitalization and 16 days of rest for 6 to 8 cycles. Obviously, Victoria had to quit her job as a receptionist and put her studies and all her projects on hold to focus on the most important thing: her recovery! After the shock of the news behind us, I take a few minutes of your time and invite you to open your heart.... Small or large amount, Victoria's gratitude will be huge, just like her inner strength and her big heart. The amount collected will help her to meet her obligations that come up monthly. Victoria's loss of salary will be for an unknown period of time as she was denied employment insurance benefits, so why not help her to dream of all the beauty that lies ahead. Victoria is a model of resilience. Her strength of character and joy of living, even in the face of hardship, is inspiring.
