Hi friends and family! This beautiful baby boy, Aiden Kenjie was born to one of my closest friends, Ava Tagulao Sison & Eleazar Donato Sison on October 30th, 2015.
He was a happy, healthy baby until he was diagnosed with a Rhabdoid tumor in May of 2016. For those unfamiliar with the disease (like me), here's a link that explains this rare and extremely aggressive disease that commonly occurs to infants & toddlers: Rhabdoid Tumor .
His parents Ava, Elly & little warrior Aiden have been trying to fight the disease since they found out, but have been turned down by many hospitals; little Aiden's tumor was deemed inoperable due to it's location. He was put on pain medication, and was sent home. His parents knew this was a battle they would not win.
On February 3rd, 2017, the family woke up to find out that Aiden Kenjie had passed.
Ava, Elly, and the rest of their family cling to their faith, knowing that God has a plan. As I type this, I am heartbroken for my beloved friend. Every death is tragic; every funeral is sad, but somehow, it seems more cruel when it happens to a child who was taken away too soon. Aiden was only 1 year and 4 months old.
I would like to lessen their burden as much as I can, so I am hoping my friends and family will help me with some of the costs.
The Sison family will always remember the time they had Aiden Kenjie, who is now an angel watching over his mom, dad, older brother and older sister.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you are not able to donate, remember to hug your own children tight & keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time.
To our little warrior Aiden, enjoy being pain free baby. ♥ #youareourSunshine
