Hi! My name is Aiden, and I'm a 25 year old non-binary trans man from Texas. I love reading, collecting physical media, drawing, and making zines. I write short stories and poetry. You can read my works here or check out my Instagram here.

My dream career is to be a Librarian, while also continuing to hone my craft as a writer. Right now, I'm a Creative Writing major, graduating with an Associate Degree in Spring 2026. I want to go on to get my Bachelor Degree, and then my Master Degree in Library Science. However, I want to take a gap year to seriously save money for my top surgery. I'd like to get the procedure done in Summer 2027, before I go back to college to continue my education.

Although I've been taking testosterone since August 2024, my chest is the biggest source of dysphoria for me. I was so emotional when I first saw myself wearing a shirt with my chest bound. Since then, I've known that top surgery is for me. I can't wait to wake up and finally see my bare flat chest.

I want to go swimming shirtless and feel the sun on my chest; To put on a t-shirt and like the way it looks on my body; To not have to bind in the Texas heat; To be gendered correctly by strangers, without worrying about if they can see my chest. Instead of crying tears of frustration over my body, I want to cry tears of joy.

I'm tired of being so envious of other trans people who've been able to obtain their surgeries. I just want to know the relief and happiness that they've felt. I want so badly for that to be me.

I work two part-time jobs and I'm financially independent. My family is not supportive of my trans identity. I make a low income, so even if I work as hard as I can, I can't achieve my goal without your support!
