Help Aiden follow his soccer dreams.....

My name is Aiden Rivera. I am fifteen years old, and have a passion for soccer. Long before I ever played soccer on a team, I loved the sport. I’ve always had a strong passion for soccer and love the challenge and fun that playing soccer brings.

Although I didn't start playing on a team until I was 10 years old, I advanced rather quickly and surpassed every goal my coaches and trainers set for me to achieve. I also have surpassed all personal goals that I’ve set for myself.

I have been able to prove to all my coaches and trainers that I have a strong understanding of the game dynamics and that the passion I bring to the field, has helped me to excel in my own abilities and versatility as a player, while also demonstrating a strong team spirit.

My grandfather is not only Scottish but he's actually from Scotland. He loves soccer and has shared his love of soccer with me from an early age. We have spent so much quality time together rooting for our favorite team - go Liverpool!

When I was seven years old, I was blessed enough to go to Scotland and England with my entire family. It truly was an unforgettable experience.

I have progressed through soccer starting with one season of recreational soccer. To a winter league for that year, then immediately to a competition team, Galt FC. I stayed with Galt FC for about 4 years. As a concerted effort as a team, I’m proud to say that Galt FC advanced from bronze, to silver, then to gold.

After that, it was suggested by my coach that I move to a premier team. That is when I joined the Elk Grove FC. Once I made Elk Grove FC, I was placed on the "A" team, which consists of players of a high caliber.

I also play soccer for my local high school Liberty Ranch High School, and in the offseason I play for the Elk Grove FC. I am committed daily to school and my love of playing soccer

My $5,000.00 goal is to cover the cost of the Gothia Cup trip, flights included which comes to approximately $4300.00, the remaining would go towards spending money for what isn't included in the Gothia Cup Tour package.
